Alliance cdm (formerly Alliance ps) was established in 1995 in direct response to the introduction of the CDM Regulations which came into force three months previously. As architects, the directors of Alliance feel that a company dedicated to keeping abreast of CDM and Health & Safety legislation, coupled with the architects experience in leading design teams, is a great advantage in ensuring co-operation between designers, contractors and client and promoting working together as the key to realising our overall objectives.

Alliance cdm was formed on the basis that consultants from different areas of expertise including architects, structural engineers, M&E engineers and quantity surveyors formed an 'alliance' which had experience in all aspects of construction contracts. Further to carrying out works as the CDM Co-ordinator appointed by a project client we also carry out a CDM / Health & Safety consultancy service for principal contractors and contractors.

Our client list includes the following: Ark Housing Association, The Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland, Midlothian Council, NHS Tayside, Inveresk Plc, City of Edinburgh Council, South Lanarkshire Council and Historic Scotland.
